The Homer Hostel is located in a big house (read about history) in the heart of Homer. It is within walking distance to the beach, cafes, restaurants, art galleries, the Pratt Museum, nightlife, grocery stores, health food store, the library and post office. We have 2 single-sex dorms and 1 coed dorm. There are also 2 private rooms. There are 4 bathrooms in the building, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 microwaves, lounge with picture window, book exchange, traveler info, a lawn and porch to relax on. Internet access is available for free at the library which is a 3 minute walk away. The hostel is open to guests 24 hours a day.

In order to keep our prices low for you, due to rising credit card processing fees, we have discontinued accepting credit cards. Acceptable payment is with cash, travelers check , and personal check (with ID). There is an ATM within walking distance of the hostel as well as a grocery store where you can receive cash back with debit cards. We apologize for any inconvenience but hope you understand we have done this to keep our prices low for you.
All prices include 7.5% city and borough tax.
5-6 Bed Dorm First nite $27 / each additional nite $25 (includes pillowcase and bottom sheet rental). If you have a clean sleeping bag, you can use that. Otherwise there is an additional $1 charge for top sheet and blanket rental. Towel rental $1. *
Private Room for 1 person First nite $55 / each additional nite $53 (includes sheet and blanket rental). Towel rental $1. *
Private Room for 2 people First nite $68 / each additional nite $65 (includes sheet and blanket rental). Towel rental $1. *
Private Room for 3 people First nite $85 / each additional nite $81 (includes sheet and blanket rental). Towel rental $1. *
